Messenger PhotoShare

PhotoShare is a new application for Windows Live Messenger that allows users to transfer photos to their contacts for viewing.

In the past sharing was done by transferring files directly between two people. The beauty of PhotoShare lies in effortlessly dragging photos right into the conversation window, giving you the ability to show them off while you’re chatting.

You can also let contacts save your photos on their computers.

To start PhotoShare, open a conversation window with the person you wants to share in your art appreciation.

The 'Photos' tab at the top of the window should be lit up (if not, ensure you are both using the same version of Messenger). Select this icon to start the application.

The main part of the conversation window shows a large preview of one of the photos, with the right hand side column showing smaller previews for the upcoming photos. Both users have control of viewing.

One nice feature is the option to stack up photos for future viewing, upload as many as you like, your friend can view them at his/her leisure.

Alternatively you can cycle through the available images by clicking the corresponding left and right controls.
